Re: Hi Toby, your site sucks at UX

Toby, I want you to keep the site the same. +1 As with my supermarket floorplan I dislike it when my favourite websites make changes that cause me to look longer for what I need. I have thick fingers and a large android. Still no desire for less text. That would provoke more scrolling touches.. I g...

Re: Recommendation on large tube kite for light Foiling

Both gong and Stormkitesurfing have struttless kites for affordable prices. I read they are different (higher air) than the BRM.
Storm also has a single strut 'race'/'speed' kite.
I use Naish trip struttless. Not sure they still sell that one..

Re: Looking for a 12 mt wave kite that turns fast, feels light and drifts. Exists?

My point is that characteristics without a comparison are useless. Okay point taken. 11 meter Neo vs Naish Trip 10 meter. Trip drifts way better. Turns a lot quicker. Low end is the same or Trip somewhat better especially if you are a light person. High end also similar (as long as you can stand he...

12m that turns fast feels lite and drifts?
Sounds like a struttless lite to me. Stormkitesurfing has a decently priced one.

haha. I guess the best Austrian kitesurfer wasn't anywhere near good enough and The Netherlands the most nearby. That would also explain the large proportion of Dutch riders competing..

Re: Kevin Langeree Claims Red Bull King Of The Air Title For Second Time

I finally found time to watch the Lewis Crathern - Jesse Richman semi-final last night. That heat showed how subjective the judging can be at KOTA. Echoing the sentiments of those posting in the other KOTA thread, I really think Jesse deserved to be in the finals. Even so, I got pumped just watchin...

Re: Where to travel as beginner in feb?

Anyone considering Cuba especially Cayo Guillermo should know the island was hit very hard. These pictures are from a 2 days ago at the SOL. I am sure the beach is still awesome but it is certainly not like kitesurfcubatravel's pictures... those pictures are pre Irma. These pictures post Irma taken...

Re: What’s the best board you have ever tried?

I have only ridden about 10 boards, but the one that stands out head and shoulders above the rest was the Nomad Carbon CCS that someone loaned me for a test drive. It cuts chop like a knife, and in flat water it glides like a slab of butter in a hot skillet. Then I saw the price and have tried ever...
