Re: Ozone Code V1 TT Board...Anyone riding it yet?

Performance? With that outline?

God, more and more I love my DIY board :) Knowing I've spent $30-40 was the best decision ever :)

Re: Pansh Aurora II 10m - one item off bucket list

BTW having a slight backstall when fully powered-up can be useful for snowkite application ; I am not saying Pansh did it on purpose, but I personally like this and do not mind to trim 5 cm if i want to cancel it. And I very often use a bit of trim on my HF. Mesmerizing :) Can you explain in more d...

Re: LE bladder wear by elastic bladder retainer inside tip (Ozone)

^ Guys, you completely missed the point, sorry. If you don't bother to read what the OP raised as a concern, than the replies are not relevant. What's relevant is the bladder retainer inside the LE securing the bladder in place. That retainer WILL force anything inside the bladder to rub against the...

Re: Ultimate All Carbon Twin tip?

God,

this thread looks like an ad for Brokite... I've been told Shinn Monk is great this and that, guess what? Got one, was nowhere near expectation.

If you can't demo the board/kite, simple. Don't buy it. It might be great for all [others, but just not for you.

Re: Custom Kiteboard Full Carbon

yes, this is fundamental and it's called symmetrical lamination as opposed to asymmetrical. However, I am not doing it coz not interested in perfection. No, not epoxy. But wood core shrinking/expanding with different lams on top/bottom. In reality, I would drop all carbon, since not needed for DIY b...

Re: Forces on a twintip

Thanks for the shear and moment diagrams! :thumb: Let me rephrase then: The load (water pressure) is the most evenly distributed, and the reactive forces are mostly symmetrical around the centre, which implies that the forward half of the board doesn't work any harder than the back half. is Unless ...

Re: Custom Kiteboard Full Carbon

Full carbon on top is, well, a waste. FG is way better coz you can leave the board on the Sun (as I did this morning). Carbon on the contrary, you can bake an egg on, the temperature is exceeding epoxy TG (an assumption for a picky readers ;), and might delam. The FG will never delam coz the Sun is...

Re: Custom Kiteboard Full Carbon

Downunder: The stickers are not stickers..can be....took a photo of the owner and embed it in my logo...and then laminate it :) The rails is one of my main focus...I really believe they change so much the behaviour of the kiteboard ..so there are made quite carefully...with different profile..in di...
