Re: Eleveight RS: My Review

I'm not saying that the kite is bad, but whomever at Eleveight is responsible for suppliying their affiliated riders with "reviews" - is doing a very lousy job. My feedback for you, and I hope you employ this advice because it will serve you in many areas of life beyond kiting, prior to jumping to ...

Re: Foil plans?

from what I understand, unless your REALLY REALLY GOOD. Hand shaped foils just won't work, they'll be uneaven and make it very difficult to ride. Think about it this way, Boards are big, so i takes a big imperfection to affect the ride. Foils are so small that even virtually imperceptibly imperfect...

"Big Kiteloops always end in an enema."

Re: Filled epoxy rails

Hmmm, not too sure. I think all snowboard rails are urethane. But, you're right. I never ever bothered with the ABS. Have a look for how long the orange - green color is crisp on my 120cm board which I ride for the last ~3 years...Epoxy would fade looong time ago. The PU is not even close to delamin...

Re: 2018 LF Thruster Foil

^ Difficult. It is torsional strength which is a problem. Yep, you could wrap it with 45/45 degrees, but carbon does not wrap nicely on square surfaces. Hence creating a stress point. To combine wood with carbon is ok, but than is not a carbon build in my books. The best is SS fuselage. Relatively n...

Re: Epoxy Gloss Coats How To

I would say Good luck too!

As Tom said, how would you apply this technique to a curved surface is unknown to me. But really, why would you have a high gloss on wing and mast? Why, why why why :)

The high gloss has a super high surface tension. And on TE high tension? Really?
