Re: Has the rest of kitesurfing been cancelled?

i am not giving up my directional or twin tip, but foiling does allow you to explore in comfort and is great for light wind days.

Re: How many are going to join in?

It's the best option on light wind days and it's becoming more affordable. I think it is reasonable to expect more participation.

Re: LP Foil Review

Have you tried a smaller board with the longer mast? I recently tried a buddies 42" dwarfcraft with the current Lift foil. It definitely improved the carving. I guess is has something to do with the swing weight of the board. Most of us ride strapless here. I was curious about that... so you like t...

Re: Maui in May and June, which kite sizes to bring?

Depends on the wind. It could be anything from 4m to 17m with 8m being the most common size that time of the year. It's difficult to kite on Maui without a car.

Re: Problems with pivot top end

I am impressed with the pivots low end, I can easily go up wind at speed when others are struggling to hold ground on 10m & 11m kites. However I get overpowered a lot earlier on the pivot than l do on the drifter. I find the ...

Re: Best board for king of the air

Poster: Peter_Frank Disagree with Dimitri, I will say speed is important. Once again you don't want to go as slow as a snail. You do need some speed but too much speed is not a good idea if you are looking to jump high. Now if you want to jump very far and jump over islands then yes get as much spe...
