Re: Hand drags getting yanked

2 things that have helped me in powered conditions with this trick. 1. I slightly depower my kite. Usually I ride fully powered, but having it slightly depowered for this trick made it loop faster and with a bit less pull. 2. I steer the kite further behind me before popping for the rotation and slo...

Re: What do you think about this Woo 20.9m jump (picture)?

Odd that you interpret the numbers that way. I see 55 out of 56 jumps almost the same (within 1M) between PIQ and WOO, which is quite remarkable for 2 different devices from different manufacturers and in my opinion only reinforces their accuracy. Yes the last jump is way off but overall the number...

Re: What do you think about this Woo 20.9m jump (picture)?

omg those Pik & woo jump heights are waaaaay off. 4 meters off! I think it's obvious from the jump it's a legit 20 something meter jump, but it sure gives me pause when people use their woos and other kind of devices to say how high they jump. After seeing that data table my feelings on the woo and...

Looks like the 2018 Evo, how do you like it?
Did you ride older EVOs before?

From the pic it looks like it boosts pretty well and holds up in overpowered conditions despite onty 3 struts.

Re: 2018 North Rebel vs 2017 North Evo Review

I generally do not need to move them around. Meaning, for normal boosting (10M/4-5seconds) I can simply aggressively move kite to 1-2pm for lift off, keep it there on the way up and slowly move it back to 10-11 on the way down for a butter landing. (You can downloop here if needed as well). North ki...

Re: 2018 North Rebel vs 2017 North Evo Review

I’ve been using 2017 Evos and like them very much and recently got an 8m 2018 Rebel. I am still not sure how I feel about it, great hang time but feels less smooth overall in terms of power delivery. But what I am most concerned about is that if I don’t sheet out while coming down by quite a bit th...

Re: 2018 North Rebel vs 2017 North Evo Review

Any difference in the tip settings for the Rebel? Also in what conditions did you fly the kites so far, over/underpowered and how do they behave a across their wind range. I find my smaller EVOs (9M) really come alive towards the upper end while keeping relatively low bar pressure. My 12M gets a bit...
