Re: North Rebel 2018

eppo when you do demo, please compare it to the 16/17 EVOs. I'm in the same boat as your buddies, love my 16/17 EVOs but am very intrigued by the new Rebel.

Re: New 2018 North Rebel 4/5 line has me rethinking Evo

Dan I know you guys also demoed prototypes of the EVO at that meeting (3 strut). For someone on EVOs today looking for more performance would you recommend to wait for the release later this year or is the EVO going more towards beginner crowd?

Re: New 2018 North Rebel 4/5 line has me rethinking Evo

@beng thanks for the review that really helps. Any reason you fly your North kites on a low V rather than factory Y? Also since you come from EVOs, can you compare the looping ability of the new REBEL. Not looking for a mega loop machine, but I want something that can at least make it around smooth ...

Re: St. Lucia or Antigua in early-mid December?

I stayed at coconut bay last December with wife and 2 kids (under 4). Resort was great for the kids, they have a really nice kids pool and a huge slide that my son spent half the vacation on. Also all inclusive is really nice with kids as you can order lots of different things without having to worr...

Re: New 2018 North Rebel 4/5 line has me rethinking Evo

I fly EVOs and they are very fast and playful. Any Rebel I have tried in the past seemed slow and less fun to throw around (higher aspect), especially in larger sizes. I always considered them to be for heavier riders. Dan, I find it odd that you say the new Rebel turns faster than the EVO. Do you f...

Re: Stem Cell therapy works

Would love to hear some ballpark on cost for this procedure? Are we talking about <5k or more in the 15-20k range?

Re: Ocean Rodeo stick shift bar

Just got to test out my stick shift for the first time in gusty powered conditions on my 9M. Functionally the bar works great, depower was easy to use and didn't take much learning curve. To be honest I would prefer to have the knob reversed in the sense that hitting it would power up instead of dow...

Re: Ocean Rodeo stick shift bar

When you say V is 1.5M away do you mean from the chicken loop or from the top of the trim? I hope I don't sound like a jerk when I point out --> this bar's trim control is the Sidewinder knob on the bar's end <-- there are no other obstructions on the center lines. 1.5m from top of QR rotor head to...

Re: Ocean Rodeo stick shift bar

I am guessing that Windance in the gorge will have one soon for demo? Absolutely, they will have an in store floor model / display and an on water demo bar hopefully by end of week this week. At the latest, early next week... That's awesome OR, is the plan to still offer a higher V and later low V?...
