Re: Confusion on Slingshot's 2019 line

I have not used the carbon setup but I have the h4 (now called space skate), the infinity 76 and 84 wings and they all work on the same fuselage. It is the switch fuselage that I use, not sure if that is what yours is. They are very durable and I do not notice the weight in the water while foiling....

Re: GoPro Hero 7 coming soon....

I’m interested but not holding my breath. This once a year update is killing them because they keep putting out cameras that aren’t ready. I do like my 5 and if they can do what they say I may get the 7.

Re: Confusion on Slingshot's 2019 line

I believe it would be the Ghost Whisper 91. It is not compatable with the HoverGlide. You would have to by the mast and fuselage as well. They are completely different from what I have seen. I'm not a foiler but know a lot of guys that are and most of them are either on the Moses or the Hoverglides...

Re: 6m soul for foiling

Hi wrote it as unbiased as possible, with very clear "I know the Hyperlink a lot better as it is my everyday kite" disclaimer. What you wanna hear is Ode to Soul. Any opinion without some other kite reference is imo worthless. No what I want to hear is the opinion of someone who has flown both who ...

Confusion on Slingshot's 2019 line

I have the original Hoverglide NF2 which I'm looking at replacing due to tip deterioration and to help learn jibes on foil. I've heard fantastic stuff about the Moses Onda 633 and know that Slingshot has basically a copy of that but I'm unsure which model it is exactly. Also is any of my NF2 setup u...

Re: 6m soul for foiling

Of course I know the Hyperlink a lot better as it is my everyday kite, but my impression was that on the 6m Soul everything should be done more fluid and with more speed to work well. Anyways, just one 35km session on it. Cheers, Frank www.famousfrank.com Not strange to hear that from an Ozone deal...

Miami in Oct and Nov

New job means I'll be down in Miami for the next 2 months learning to fly the B777 and plan on de-stressing from sim by kiteboarding. Like to get some information on typical winds I can expect, what spots are available, water temps, etc etc. Plan on bringing my hydrofoil with me as well but need to ...

Re: Flysurfer Soul

^^ If it's a new kite, give it 5 hours of flight time to fully break in before you make changes. It will speed up a little but but the 50cm bar does have a little to do with it, really need a 55/60cm bar. Again I wouldn't make the steering lines more than 5cm shorter than the front lines. You'll get...
