Come on dude, this is the USA. We're not responsible for our selves. You can't take responsibility for your own actions. Just ask any lawyer, or insurance company

I'll throw one more snow kiting type in here... Terrain kiting Where I play I have hills ridges and mountains to deal with. If the wind is blowing down hill (pretty rare) it can be difficult to make up wind progress. When the wind is blowing up the hill I use the hill to get more a agressive upwind ...

Here's something for all of you folks that like to...

spend money waxing your skis/snowboards. A little OT, but relevant if you're trying to go fast or go in deep snow. This thesis is a little long, but worth the read.

I don’t know about the trailing edge safety. Like you said it sounds kind of sketchy. I did set up a bar/sheeting system with a leading edge 5th line and a spinning bar. I set up a reverse launch bridle at the kite. Look at windwings jumpstart and slingshots alt launch systems and this link. ...

I can't help with the snowboard stance cause I ski, but I use LEI's because I can afford one set of kites and it made no sense to have on set for winter and one for summer. LEI's are more versital for me. I can use the same bar/line set for all of my kites. I made a reverse launch bridle for my kite...

I have the same problem with out doing the kiteloops. Your bar diameter is too small, which causes you to grip to tight. The thumb over the top may help. I made a bar for my hand. I've only used it once, but so far its seems to help. I had no pain at all. I'll be out again tomorrow for more tests. B...

Snow at powder Mountain

Snow report for PM. We went up Sunday afternoon. The was about 20" of new snow that had settled yet, so the snow is sitting on top of all the brush. We waited for the wind to come up. It was out of the north west, but never did blow enough to really fly. The other problem was the snow is very margin...

Just realized that my flat top picture was not over far enough. Here is an other view at a lower angle. I was pointing to the top of Geertsens canyon. You have to go out a bit more.

Hey Marty, Yes, that would be me. The guy with the longboard. You can drive to the top during the ski season and park in the lot in the picture. Its almost a mile to the radar tower from there. There is a cat track that goes to the surface tow ( sunrise lift) and one that goes on the other side of t...
