Re: Time for new winter boots. Atan again?

Note I run Solite boots in Europe. Ankle strap runs around and under the heel (only brand that does this) idea is to give a more connected feel. Idea behind internal split toe is to not lose to much warmth but keep the improved balance/feel. cheers As much as I love the moldable bottom unit of the ...

Re: Differences among North (/Duotone) bars

Maybe just a detail but I remember that North had a lot of issues with seperating bargrips until 2016. They solved it - afaik - only in 2017. Not sure what you are trying to do here, k-t.... if you are aiming for an older used bar, make sure that you check the lines first. Just incase someone is wo...

Re: Any reviews on the Duotone Juice?

Can't speak for myself, but I had a chat with a dude who had Juices and sold them all. Said that he absolutely disliked those kites. He even rented 18m Duotone Juice and remained the same opinion about this kite. Asked to try out my 12m Soul and he was much more impressed by it, than the Juice. Com...

Re: Differences among North (/Duotone) bars

Any certain years you're looking at? Like Yoda said 2013 till now is a bunch of small improvements every few years. I wouldn't buy anything older than the 2014. This is what I remember and was backed up with some cursory googling. 2013 (black and white) - Introduced the push button bar length change...

Re: Why is everyone hating on old kites ?

Because they are dangerous and fly like shit compared to this year's or even a few years ago kites. /thread Yup - it's a miracle anyone survives until "this year's" kites arrive. :jump: "compared to" is the key term. Old cars are dangerous and drive like shit compared to modern cars.

^ that right there.

But I wouldn't worry too much about compression strength since it's behind the tail pad.

Depends a lot on whether you are riding hook or slider.
No it does not.
Sorry, I was referring to whether to wear it loose or tight. Not the op. If you ride with a rope you can wear it really tight. If you ride with a hook, looser can be better.
Only if you like bruised/ broken ribs

Re: Zhik Hydrophobic pants review... warm water protection

BTW the hydrophobic nature of the pants just comes from a coating. Nylon yarns intrinsically do not have any sort of hydrophobic properties, in fact it's hydrophilic.

Honestly all these are is yoga pants with a non whicking coating...
