Re: How far do you drive to kite?

Damn I though I had a decent way to go but some of you guys even further, 1 hour and 45 mins to a tidal estuary beach and 3 hours to my favourite but it’s worth it!

Re: Replacement swivel for 4line flag out

Thanks guys lots of food for thought - much appreciated! Sliick, by attaching the flag out line to the ring that rotates, does that not mean you don't have a safety release on the flag out line (which you do if you attach to a suicide leash?) No I should have shown you more of the picture I connect...

Re: Replacement swivel for 4line flag out

Don't suppose you have a pic of how this works? Sounds like the best way to go for me. I’m the same as Sarc always replace mine with a ring there’s no friction on release, I self land 99% of the time and the kite drops straight down on the leading edge( except the odd time when it rolls over a few ...

Re: Replacement swivel for 4line flag out

The best swivel is one that's not there. They never work well anyways. Just get rid of it and replace with ball/ring or ring/ring safety. Don't suppose you have a pic of how this works? Sounds like the best way to go for me. I’m the same as Sarc always replace mine with a ring there’s no friction o...

Re: Surfboard Size Poll

I had my F One 6”2 Signature for a good few years just replaced it with a Slingshot Converter mainly for travelling having the surfing/ foiling option the converter is great in the smaller mushier stuff and for playing around but still prefer my 6”2 for bigger cleaner days!

Re: Jay XTC Flextech 2.0 harness

Re: 20m best yarga

I agree with edt on the Cabrinha I had a 17m Co2 in 2003/4 still got it and that was a nice kite to fly well balanced and you could water relaunch it more easily but as said nothing compared to kites nowadays for safety and relaunch it’s been in the bag for 12 years now perhaps I might get it out if...
