Re: Flying an IDS kite (two line safety) using one line safety bar

I posted a similar question and I did test it before going out and it worked fine with no issues. I tested it in moderate winds for the kite. Either way it reacted the same way my single line kites do when I flagged out.

Re: 12m or 14m Slingshot Rally for 200 lbs riders ??

I would go off of what you learned on. If you enjoyed the size of the board you were taught in go with that. If not I would try a light wind board out before purchasing. I tried one and didn’t care for it because there was to much performance sacrifice because of the size. I’m also 40lbs lighter tha...

I might misunderstand what you are looking for but C changes as it slides up and down to adjust to the rider.

Re: New Tona gear

I’ve watched most of his vlog’s since they started showing the kite and in one video he addressed the elephant in the room and just said that the kite was still under development. The foil board looks intriguing as well and has shown up on some thier Facebook posts but I haven’t seen anything relate...

Re: How old is your oldest kite you still ride on?

I learned on my 2012 Cab Vector and have had a love hate relationship with it. It's not fast, steering is kind of numb, jumps OK for a 12m but I have had to make zero repairs on it and its in pretty good condition considering its the kite I learned on in 2012. I ended up buying a new bar today since...

Thanks for the replies... I did test and I didn't have any issues. Has anyone else tested it out and had different results?

Double Line Flagging Kite w/ Single Line Bar?

I have a 2012 12m Cabrinha Vector that won't die so I'm going to keep it, but the lines on the 2012 Cabrinha bar have been stretched a lot since getting it and I have concerns how much longer they're going to last, so I'm going to buy a new bar. The old bar flags on both front lines and most bars ar...

Re: 2018 LF Thruster Foil

Thanks for sending the video kitehume. Videos and reviews on the Thruster have been hard to find even from the shops. I'm going to probably pull the trigger on a thruster foil this spring. I'm going to take the risk of learning on the thruster as well, but I'll be putting a lot of time behind a boat...

Re: Help - Purchased Old Kite - Does it need bridles?

If you have to ask a question like that then you should probably return it and take a lesson first before buying gear sight unseen.
