Re: Could someone please invent a better way to self land a kite in high wind.

I have used this technique for very long and never backfired. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SGunSQnLc3s 30+kts, pretty gusty sometimes. When you get used to the technique you can steer the kite easily from the frontlines if it bounces a bit by gusty wind. Not recommended in stupidly overpowered wi...

Re: How often do you swim in @ <10knots ?

Turbaani, If trying to push the ultimate low end then getting the Chrono V2 Ultralight over the Chrono V2 would be recommended IMO. For ultimate light winds the UL version is incredible. Re: How often do you swim in @ <10knots ?

Re: sitting on the board to relaunch

I have LF foil also. Just sit in the middle of the board, and hold it with your legs. Its rather easy, just find the correct balance and its pretty relaxing to do relaunches from this position.

Re: Hindenburg

We get gusty wind more then steady wind. Never keep kite at zenith, keep it at 45degrees so if it starts to drop it wont hindenburg, it will start turning down and when falling it will generate some speed and should catch some wind and you can then downloop or just streer it back up. And if kite is ...

Re: Is there kite rental in north germany?

I guess i wasnt so lucky afterall. It was raining all day and there was maybe 12 kts wind for 20min. And rest of the time not enough for twintips. And nobody had hydrofoils on the beach. Blah! But spot was so nice, maybe ill come visit some other time!
