Re: Piq, Xensr or Woo?

I only have experience with PIQ and Xensr. I liked my Xensr Air a lot but it didn't last. Xensr seem to be moving out of the hardware market - hence their i-watch app. It looks interesting and I'd certainly give it a go if I already had that hardware.. I'd be interested in finding if anyone has seen...

Re: Impact vest with pockets

The two I know that might fit the bill are:

and

Both seem to have pockets front and back

Re: Sand / water / aqua socks to wear inside boots

Have you looked at these: https://darkfingloves.com/darkfin-split-toe-water-bootees/ I use them when I'm on holidays and they make all the difference for protecting your feet. You can still feel the sharp spiked urchins (I'm using this as a generic spiky thing metaphor) but they don't seem to penetr...

Re: at 57°F (14°C) water temperature you would choose 5/4 or 4/3 wetsuit?

4/3 would be fine for that in my temperature range (water only gets to 16c here as max temperature). Add an impact vest/hood and you'll be toasty on the water. Chuck on an old jacket whilst rigging and packing away and you'll be toasty on the land (nothing worse than starting off cold before you eve...

Re: Ozone Enduro V2

Thats about the same as my Ocean Rodeo flites (within a few grams which could easily be cheap scale tolerances) which are not much different from many of the big brand single strut kites. Have you noticed much difference in playing with the bridle settings? I can imagine that being able to make it f...

Re: Which kitesizes do YOU use ?

South coast of England. TT with the odd foil session. Mostly 10m (70%). Some 7m (20%) and a handful of 12m days (mostly when I go on holiday abroad over the last year). But this is partly because I don't get that many sessions (maybe 70-80 sessions a year) as I only make the effort to drive down to ...

Re: Trace errors compared to Woo

While grabbing my coffee this morning in the south bay i met a guy Geoff that works for Intel and knew all about sensers for kitesurfing. he said they did some testing of all the devices and trace ranked the worst in jump heights, pique was better but not by much, woo was pretty good but its jump h...

Re: One strut kites - which the lightest of them all?

I put the numbers into a spreadsheet (not shared, at least not yet), in no particular order. Not taking anything under 8 m2 into account - maybe 8 and 9 should also be omitted as weight hardly as interesting when that windy, but for lightweights and hydrofoil it can be interesting. Also put two of ...
