Re: Pansh Kite Fans

On big interest of pansh bars is their largest model of 65 cm , quite rare and useful above 12m2 on pansh kites IMO . 60 cm still works but less agile.

Ps : i removed tge 5th lines of all my pansh kite that now connects to any standard 4 even line bar .

Re: viron 4m in waves with hydrofoil

Ok interesting. On a HF now, still 4m2 : Positive : - very safe at launch and in the sky (below 40 knots then wings shakes as a bird (in my memory of the 6m dlx, and it seemed to do the same in highest gusts like we see at the start of the video). Nothing dangerous. - stable and no closing in two. I...

Re: Comparative risk of kitesurfing

wow ~12y old thread revival.. Why didn''t you start a new one? :D why ? hummm ... but why not ? great to recycle things in this detructive world :thumb: I updated the table with probably more accurate figures on planes and cars, based on number of travels rather than car numbers. I added horse rind...

Re: viron 4m in waves with hydrofoil

Good on you for showing the struggle in all its glory Regis - I was having flashbacks to the stormy onshore conditions I have tried to get out in on the foil. So damn frustrating , you hate the whitewater so much , if you try to start too soon your mast hits bottom, and you think it is never going ...

Re: Pansh Kite Fans

In 6m i do not think you have a lot of choice since a15 does unfortunattelly not exist below 9. Bar is cheap and Chicken loop is heavy, fragile and obsolete. However if you replace the CL like i did, the bar is acceptable. They have a limited depower which is the main cons of pansh. So for a beginne...

viron 4m in waves with hydrofoil

25 knots , quite tricky session last month for my limited experience in waves with a foil (the first with so high waves), but memorable in the end ; foil is a 1200 cm2 Ketos large wave foil;

Re: Comparative risk of kitesurfing

yes for the automotive it is a bit tricky due to the possibility of several user in the same car ; actually I found no number of users nor use rate, but I read that french minister communicated on 1 death every 900 000 hours, which is directly the number I look for for my comparison ; but i do not k...

Re: Comparative risk of kitesurfing

Following the recent accident two days ago, I launched a discussion on french forum and did some values gathering for france area to compare risks; not focussing on causes here, just the objective (and cold) death numbers per activity type and per estimated hour of practice ; the idea is to assess h...

Re: Pansh Kite Fans

which one would give more hang time and lift? Cheers with my medium-level in jumps , I would say that jump is easier to launch with the a15 (hence lift maybe better) but Aurora (slower in turn) will stay longer in air (more hang time); My a9 flight good right off the bag and is wonderfully stable e...

Re: Pansh Kite Fans

You need to give more details on your type of snow ride, weight , skills and wind.
Overall tha a15 is the easiest, more stable and all round use as first kite. Just a lack of depower for a beginner. I like my a15 in 9m on snow and tt ride
