Re: Back to the roots of hydrofoiling ?

Amazing ... And it also shows the unbelivable humain resources and learning process, since after some month of hydrofoil it seems so natural that your body has even forgotten what was so difficult in the learning phase. I often use the comparison with human walk of a child to try to describe this im...

Re: Back to the roots of hydrofoiling ?

Nice topic gentlemens. I have a huge respect to the pioneers that succeed to fly on a HF; when you think again at how hard it is to start and foil-up, now assuming that you don't have the knowledge that others succeeded before you, you need an unlimited self-confidence and courage to keep thinking i...

Re: The Monjet Ninox

Oh yes , still happy. It seems to me that brands having launched new medium ratio kites don ot reach a similar low end. So... still happy. IMO Existing Single skin are too small to gain low end vs pulsion 15m and lack of structures and LD ratios. So if i had plenty of money, and waiting for potentia...

Re: Kite Lines: which ones are used by the pro?

knot with a figure 8 should decrease the breaking load, while you have not so much margin on thin lines ... for people not afraid with splicing, this is better and more "beautiful" I think. For loops, I use a thicker line on the 3 first meters of all lines, so that the thin lines are never grinding ...

Re: Kite Lines: which ones are used by the pro?

I like them to splice, very easy which is not obvisous with this little diameter. I have not tested the breaking load

Re: Pansh Genesis and some tuning

4 or 4.5m I think would be a great size down from 6m. Imho 6m and under a slower kite can be nicer. Same size for me please ! :thumb: I suppose that the change in briddles occured at the same time that the change in color, no ? so if your Genesis is black an red, it should have the updated briddles...

Re: Which bar for petite person / shorter arms

the best solution I found and does it now on all my bars : replace the Chicken loop by a shorter system ; like cabrinha old chicken loop, cut the harness hook , get rid of the cabrinha loop , and instead attach the cabrinha release system directly on a ring fixed on the spread bar (there is few topi...
