Re: Introducing HiLo - A high quality pump, packed with the latest technology

I’ll stick with my $20 west marine and walmart pumps for now. The i-sup doesnt get that much use and came with its own pump anyway. Looks cool (if pump can  ) but missing the $100 price mark by a mile makes it a tough sell Tell you what - We'll put our money where our pump is and offer you a ...

Re: Introducing HiLo - A high quality pump, packed with the latest technology

That's great but pumping stuff up is isn't really a problem for me. Even a big kite only takes a minute or two to pump up. What I really want is a micro pump I can leave stashed in the car for emergencies. What really concerns me is that I have multiple boards and bars and kites and wings and foils...

Re: Kite Pump Filter?

...What do y'all think of the concept?.. why use metal? can you make them more "disposable", something out of filter paper, something biodegradable? This is only a concept. I can see a lot of rust building up on the one in the picture above. A final model would be made of plastic and the filter ele...

Kite Pump Filter?

SUP Kiters! I wanted to share with you a concept we're working on here at Aeolian...It's a Kite Pump Filter http://www.aeoliankitesurfing.com/img/pumpFilterSmall.jpg You put it on the "Deflate" side of your handle to Filter the air you pump into your kite. This keeps sand and dirt out of your Bladde...

Re: Hand vs Electric pump

I can tell you why for me I like the Aeolian design. (I like the BST too for roadside stuff). The BST is too heavy to skin in to backcountry spots. I'm hoping the Aeolian will still be light enough since it's just a low pressure inflator. In addition you'd still have a manual backup if cold kills t...

Re: Hand vs Electric pump

[quwhite="NHKitesurfer"]AeolianKitesurfing no offense but what is the value proposition to using your hybrid pump vs an electric? My bravo bst has worked flawlessly and pumps the kite completely. It's also about a 1/3 the size of a manual pump.[/quote] There are a few reasons why the Triple Action P...

Re: Hand vs Electric pump

Vlad, looks great. I use a little airhead inflator and top off with the manual. Looks like you have all-in-one. How does the battery handle cold temps for snowkiting? More importantly, how can I get one?? We are testing NIMH batteries for cold weather now...Results look promising! Follow Triple Act...

Re: Hand vs Electric pump

Also, I still believe that walking the lines should be part of your kite set up routine. Because this is when you can check if your lines have knots in them or are ready to break. (see video bellow) I hope these videos helps. HAPPY NEW YEAR. Great Videos Dimitri!! You make a good point here...line ...
