Re: Fastest turning wave/boost kite

The Switch Element turns super fast on the pivot setting. Has anyone compared this kite with the others?

Re: Firewire Vader

I have the VD 5"1. It's a great board for windy conditions but sucks in light winds ! Which is why I just purchased a Nugget 5"3. So I suggest you keep your Nugget and get a 5"1 for windy days like me :-)

Re: Toe Side advices needed

Toe side is one of those things I just cannot master well unless I'm well powered up.

I always bring my back foot one foot forward and put more weight on the front foot.

I do lean a fait bit and dig the rail or keep it flat when under powered.

Maybe I need to get a rope slider...

Re: Broke my ankle!

Time to go strapless!

I've suffered serious inflammation in both ankles from my TT days and now only ride strapless. It's better!

Toeside strapless tips

Hi, I'm still struggling to get going toeside when the wind isn't strong and would like some tips. I have no issues in strong winds as there's enough power but in lesser winds I find that I can never go upwind as much toeside and always slow down leading to a turn back to normal stance. I understand...

Re: Bad Kiteboarding Crash - When your board gets into the lines

Question; did the guy activate the QR? If not would it have made a difference? It does not look like he did. Would it have made a difference? Doubtfully. Not with a GoPro mount binding together his two center lines. Because of the way the GoPro attaches to both center lines, a single centerline fla...

Re: Switch QR failed me

I've had issues with the QR too where I would sometimes find it little harder to release... but generally it's OK. Other times I launched the kite and the QR came undone, make sure it's always well locked in before you use it.
