Re: Foil Kite advice Chrono,Hyperlink, Soul

Tried the Hyperlink 12, nice and stable, very easy to use. After recently purchasing a race foil I now find the kite is a limiting factor, the Hyperlink managed about 20 knots on a reach, the foil is probably capable of 30-35 knots. I'm guessing a Chrono/Sonic in an 11 mtr would be a better option,...

Re: Moses 2018

Cwood, I posted in other thread: if I'm in light wind 6-8 knots with 13m race foil kite , no waves but want to just freeride. Will 637 race wing be better than 633? I just want it to be easy and enjoyable.. Tom I think its more personal preference and what you mean by "freeride" If you want to work...

Re: Moses 2018

Hi John! We are already connected on Woo!..Chuck. Glad to hear this. What is the space difference for the mast from 558 to a comfortable spot for the 637? I'd rather have a frame of reference from you than going through trial and error :-). Hey Chuck! Come see us in Houston when it gets cold up the...

Re: Corrosion on Aluminium parts (Moses fuselage)

Re: Woo 3.0 and iWatch 3?

I tested Woo 3.0 with Android watch and it is unusable on water. Any splash of water causes watch to exit Woo app and go to a Clock screen. I think watch treats it as a "palm gesture". In short, it works OK as long as you never fall :naughty: Here is a short video demonstrating the problem: [youtub...

Re: Build Your Own Bridle Lines

Hmm... ;) Likely I will match them. Still need to play around a bit. Flysurfer told me to copy the other side with the new one for length. You are dealing with an entire bridle system that has changed from factory. This was using new DC60 line from Liros, the maker of the line that FS uses. Thanks....

Re: High Lift Wings like Moses 633 Onda: who is it for?

I think we kite foilers have to carry the excess weight from a fuselage, that was designed to match the forces of windsurf boards or alikes. Remember Onda found its way to kite foiling by consumer trials rather than Moses advertising. 2019 I expect those really light wings to be attachable to a muc...

Re: Foil Kite advice Chrono,Hyperlink, Soul

I think that some here think that what they like is the best thing mankind can do, and people who like something else is just dumb. Me personally, I like jumping high no matter how light the wind is, and the only way to do that is to have a big and slow freeride foil kite that is a pain in the arse...

Re: High Lift Wings like Moses 633 Onda: who is it for?

The other thing to note is that the 633 and big wings that came from Surf and SUP line are a problem for the geometry of the fixed mast on the standard Moses boards. They require a big shift in center of gravity forward...beyond a standard footstrap location. If you are going to use them a lot then ...

Re: Foil Kite advice Chrono,Hyperlink, Soul

Hi there, just thinking about to Switch my kites to foil kites. I already could try the Flysurfer Soul in 15 and 10m. For the 15 the wind was unfortunately to much on the 10 it was quite fun but above 12knots i had the feeling i could change to a smaller kite because the depower didn't change as ex...
