Re: Moses 2018

Learned yesterday from scratch on a 633 mounted to a 61cm mast. Borrowed Nobile 144/46 board, SS fot hooks. 45min Dolphin, took a brake, out again, 45min of longer flights like 5-20meters, still had a hard time controlling lift. Then remembered all the hints of the Onda center of lift being more fo...

Re: Jumping (and landing) technique

My experience. You gotta create tension...so up wind hard, ass low, snap the kite, time a wing send with kite apex. Wing sent is a major factor in height....that is the advantage. Withington "pulse" (plunge mast deep then send) is also valuable. I focus on a hard redirect (foil kites) on the bottom ...

Re: Slingshot Ghost Whisper 91 2019 imput needed

Some questions and comments: beautiful setup....I like the look of this board. This mast wing combo is from the Moses SUP and Surf line and the geometry is not set up quite right for kiteboards...but its easy to fix. You just need to get your center of gravity (weight) further forward to the point y...

Re: Woo3 and Xensr compared

Well if you think it's fun and making you a better kiter, then good for you. I myself over the years push myself to master tricks. So if I master the dark slide kiteloop, I then push to add a backroll in to it. If I master the front roll transition I then try to do a double front roll and so on and...

Re: Woo3 and Xensr compared

People are missing the point. - It's comparative fun with estimated heights....which are surprisingly accurate in our group experience.....many many woo's, all versions, 10's of thousands of boosts....and the top guys are always the top. The challengers are always the challengers and the low guys ar...

Re: Lets discuss ear protection

I guess it depends what you are needing to achieve. I don't have issue with getting water in my ears in general (drainage after) its the impact and injury I want to avoid, and now, after learning about surfers ear, reduce the amount of wind and wet and cold that hit them....so I don't need a perfect...

Re: Lets discuss ear protection

Just plain old surfer’s ear. Ear peeled forward and exostoses drilled away. Now facing up to 3 months off the water while it heals. Oh yes - and then there’s the other ear to do. Ear plugs. Wear them. were they encroaching so much as to impede hearing? No not yet. My left ear had become very uncomf...

Nico seems to be carrying a big knife with him in that photo.
I would think given the potential for tangle carnage that this would be a wise accessory?
