Re: One strut kites - which the lightest of them all?

Please know that Herbert is at the very least an unofficial spokesman for BRM and is closely associated with the brand and owner. Dwight is now a Naish dealer. Not saying their comments and opinions are wrong or right, just saying they are both closely associated with the brands they are speaking ab...

Re: Are Switch kites getting any better?

I'd say that's a fairly favorable initial review considering the winds. Thanks and we'll watch for more hopefully Friday.

Re: Ozone vs Core

I have to say how disappointed I am to many of the responses to my initial query. I thought I was asking a fairly simple question about three kites. As I mentioned I like the idea of Ozone because they have control of their own manufacturing facility. I picked two models, the Catalyst and the Enduro...

Re: Ozone vs Core

Are the Bridles short enough to prevent wrapping over the wing tips on the XR5?

Re: Ozone vs Core

My question was: What would be the better choice between those three kites given my experience level. Yes good deals can be had on Rallys. From what I've seen and experienced the XR5 has a better wind range than the Rally. That's worth something to me.

Re: Ozone vs Core

Thanks for the tips. It's absolutely not about brand or prestige for me. Kites are expensive, no doubt, and if I need to spend a little extra to get the right thing I think it's money well spent. My Rally has been good, got it second hand but it's tattered and leaks a bit.

Ozone vs Core

I'm new to the sport, I can ride up wind and transition, self launch/land. Not sure where that puts me. My experience so far has been on a SS Rally. I want to buy a new kite. I have heard great things about Ozone kites and like that they have their own factory. The Catalyst seems nice but is it too ...

Re: North rebel or cabrinha switchblade

How do you find the sweet spot of a given kite without actually flying it and if you weigh more than the standard 175 pound typical example most companies use? Is the sweet spot generally in the middle of the stated range? Other than actual experience, guessing seems a bit like black magic.

Re: 2018 Naish kites

The 2017 Pivot is a great looking kite, the 2018s are a step back imo.
