I have also run across about 10 odd baby hammerhead sharks and one bull shark. Foils are way too quiet.

Re: Zeeko Spitfire Hydrofoil

Appreciate the feedback! I ride with a single foot hook open forward on the mid to forward aspect of the board. It allows me to waterstart but can move my foot forward if needed. The back foot is free. I've been playing with different foot positions. When I move the front foot forward to anticipate...

Re: Storm voyager vs other strutless

I´ve tried Cloud C1, LF Solo (first Edition), Storm Voyager II and North Mono 2016/2017. Apart from the Mono, all single or no-strut kites for me have the same downside: A lack of depower. As soon as the wind picks up just a bit for the respective kite size, they get quite a bit of a handful and ar...

Re: Zeeko Spitfire Hydrofoil

Happy to recommend this beast for kitesurfing What wind strength and kite size? Is it going to replace the big Naish wing at this stage? Started in 10knots on a 10.4m Cloud. Went down to an 8m Cloud in 15 to 20 knots. Could have flown the 6.2m. I feel that they both have very similar power requirem...

Re: Zeeko Spitfire Hydrofoil

Some thoughts on the Zeeko Spitfire XXLW. For my weight, I found the original zeeko wings too small. The XLW wings were much better, but I found them a little to fast in the surf. So I decided to grab the XXLW unit (thanks RAL INN). I have the 60cm mast and I attached the foil to my Naish Hover 155....

Re: Why not more canards ?

I will be riding the XXLW (60cm mast) on a Naish Hover 155 over the weekend for the first time. I found the little wings were too much work for me ay 100kg. The XLW were really great for free riding and a little bit too fast for surf riding (IMO), but I am hoping the XXLW will be adequately slow for...

Re: Airush Ultra: one strut kite that meets expectations of a ram air lover

SURF and TT Review: 2018 9m ultra. 17-21 knots side-onshore wind, 2-3 foot waves, 80kg rider, 20m lines, jimmy lewis surfboard and then a crazyfly carbon TT. Very powerful for it's size, I was on the 9m and everyone else on 12ms (riding TT). Again it's a super fast kite and flies very close to edge...
