Re: Progression to Longer Mast or Smaller Wing

Yup. Once you are up on the foil consistently, the longer mast is not noticeably any more difficult to manage & actually reduces the risk of breaching. The shorter mast is only a step to make foiling less intimidating when you start out (& useful obviously for shallow water). I found this to be spo...

Re: When will i relax and enjoy my foiling?

...Just one other thing im struggling with is elbow and wrist strain which i dont get with other boards is this common in the early stages? Im assuming its because of a completely different stance. You mention you're trying more toe-side. Are you one-handing the bar, trying to move kite with one ha...

suggested kite size + wind range

Somehow I ended up with a LF Thruster and Impulse set up, with Rocket board. Total newbie. Local conditions usually 15-25 knots. I already have a 10, 12, and 15m kite. What size kite(s) do you recommend for 15-25 knots? (Would like to learn on Impulse as I think it will be slower, which appeals to m...

Re: Depower on a Cabrinha Contra

Have you checked your line lengths? With time, jumping, pressure etc, the front lines can stretch which can account for your situation. Sometimes you have to adjust the pigtails/knots you're using to ensure you have adequate throw at the bar.

Re: Back Line Trim Control, Introducing The Stick Shift Control Bar

@ORSales, any word on if/when your adjustable stopper will be sold separately for other bars with PU tubing etc? Sounds useful for Airstyle and taking tension off the arms when needed.

self launch - minimize kite damage

How can one minimize the amount that the kite drags along the beach as it slides downwind? I'm aware of other methods (drift launch, tether- both I have done successfully). From all the videos I've watched, it looks like all you need to do is tension the front lines by walking into the wind, allowin...
