Re: Duotone Neo 2019

Brilliant, thanks very much for taking the time to share your findings Jules. Sounds like the 2019 ones are the way ahead for me.

Re: Duotone Neo 2019

Has anyone tried these new Neos out yet? Be interested to hear whether the claims made in the video are valid and how they compare with the 2018 model. I had a very enjoyable demo on a 10m 2018 Neo and am wondering whether to enjoy discount on 2018 old stock, or pay full whack for the privilege of b...

Re: Bar recommendations

I'm using the Core Sensor 2S with my 18m Soul. It works fine despite at 54cm being shorter than the recommended 60cm for the 18m.

Re: Is a Flysurfer Soul 18m too much for hydrofoil in light wind?

I've just bought 18m Soul to replace 17m Core Free. It has more power & flies far more happily in less wind. Prior to the Free, I had a Zephyr which needed much more wind than Free for 3 reasons, it's got 5 struts compared with 3 and it's not a true 17m, more like 15.5. I compared it both with my 14...

Re: Xr5 6m or 5m Boost 2 top end ??

I'd recommend checking out the 7m XR5, before deciding that the 6m is the one for you should you opt to go with Core. A friend has the 7m and it is a massive jump down from the 9m XR5 and when compared with a 7m Ozone Edge V9, both inflated, it sat inside it....! I can say from experience that the ...

Re: Carved Imperator V vs Nomad Prototype Ultra-Carbon

I've had a Nomad 3 years now and am very pleased. I sent email to Carved stating what I wanted and asked difference between the Carved Imperator and Core equivalent which was about 60% price in UK. The reply was buy the Carved, you won't go wrong, no justification. I was unimpressed! I sent the same...

Re: Ozone vs Core

It's a shame that such threads degenerate and we end up with Basil Fawlty-esque 'Don't mention the Core'.... I actually started a Core thread here which managed to stay on topic, so I mentioned it once, but think I got away with it.... After just 5 minutes demoing an Enduro V1 on their release, I re...

Re: Kite collapsing on itself during down loop !

Aiming for 10psi seems too much for 57kg rider. If it really is needed, then changing pump to electric ion (or other make) or possibly a SUP high pressure/low volume ought to negate problems with not having enough mass to achieve pressure. I would have thought that so long as it retains pressure, th...
