Re: Pulsion 18m

@foilholio : No not tested. I do not want to add lines to set the camber. My setting suits me like it is (FYI I put a stopper on SPL B tgat acts similarly as wac line in extreme sheet-out position). Stopper on B SPL? Please explain. Unless it grabs A I fail to see how it increases camber. If it gra...

Re: Chrono V1 tip tucking

Lengthening individual A bridles is by far the wrong way to do this, you will limit your depower doing that. The easiest and quickest way to fix this is add an extension to your Zmain or as lovely Ozone calls it KR1. Just add in a loop with knot on one end at the rear line attachment end. You will n...

Re: Pulsion 18m

Interesting you choose Pulsion over soul for light wind, weight is incredible. The soul has an interesting shape, very curved TE.

@Regis have you tried a Bar adjustable camber setup, like with adding extra front lines?

Re: Flysurfer Soul

You haven't jumped till you have been on a 15m foil in 30knots. There is a reason Toby uses large kites in high wind, the hang time is nuts. Len10 10m in 40+knots. 8m Foil 45knots nuts too :-).

Re: Weight difference

Sorry getting the speed4's mixed up, I was talking about lotus though I am sure the original speed 4 10m doesn't weigh that much. even with the tiny amount of bridal stretch in Dyneema, sheeting angle or individual bridal tuning issues are exaggerated. Shrink not stretch. I think it is kind of funny...

Re: Weight difference

Also a foil kite will lose shape and fall like a shapeless grocery bag, especially thin ones. And if a gust comes before it hits the water/ground it will pop you like a cork. Been there myself and saw that few times.. My larger, thicker foil would drift back in lulls nicely though A LEI would fall ...

Re: Hyperlink size recommedation

I've ridden a surfboard a lot last 8 years. I'd not want to use a slow kite on one. So I'm keeping my North Monos as surfboard kite. The HL 12 surely is slow for a surfboard. And the Chrono will be more boosty on the TT? My guess is both will be poor surfboard kites, but Chrono better than HL on th...

Re: The Monjet Ninox

Ok generally adding weight to anything flying does not improve performance.
