Re: WOO and KOTA

The South African guy doing the commentary said that the competitors each had a Woo on their boards and that the judges could refer to the Woo data if the heights of jumps were close, to get more accuracy. Struggle to see how a Woo would be more accurate or even possible at the distances the riders ...

Re: Revl Arc cam: Anybody preorder one?

It is not out yet. It had an Indigogo funding drive, they met their goal and are moving ahead with production. Their blog said on Nov 14 they were shipping and to expect units by nov 20. customers on fb are wondering where their cameras are this week, almost a month later. Retail doesn't have them,...

Re: Revl Arc cam: Anybody preorder one?

They started shipping a few weeks ago to the those of us who were in early on Indiegogo. All of the first batch went to US backers but the next lot seem to be going internationally. I confirmed my shipping address yesterday and I should have it in the UK in the next month. There have been a lot of v...

Re: Los Roques y Isla Coche

Another one wondering the same thing. Los Roques looks amazing but I worked in Venezuela for a few weeks a long time ago and it was easily the most dodgy place I've worked. I left and went to work in Nigeria and it felt safe in comparison. Desperately want to try Los Roques but the fact that the cou...

Re: Nobile NHP split

Used my 2016 Carbon NHP split for 10 days straight last month in Brazil. First time I'd ever used it. It was ok. It's the heaviest board I've got/had so not sure of the benefit of the carbon construction other the strength, which is probably similar on the non-carbon. It took plenty of beating witho...

Re: GoPro Hero 6

I Hey Revl Arc if you are listening. This is your chance. GP in my eyes just laid an egg. No tangible upgrade from my Hero 4 Silver from 2+ years ago.(relevant features, size, price, fogproofing? ) 2 years is an eternity in the tech world. I hope your cam launches soon and is a hit. The ...

Re: Polluted water and drysuit in hot weather?

I have an Ocean Rodeo Soul and use it in 10-15C air temp and 7-10C water temp. With only a long sleeve tee and climacool shorts on underneath I have to drop down into the water to cool down. You'll cook in high ambient temps like that.

Re: 2017 Airline Sports Baggage Fees & Rules

American Airlines: complete and utter shambles, no consistency on whether or what they charge, they just make it up as they go along. If you getting chatting with the person, it can be free, if you get some bad tempered person, it'll be $150 each way. Worst airline on the planet. Qatar Airways: Neve...
