Re: Zeeko Spitfire Hydrofoil

Thanks very much for the replies zeeko and everyone else, as I had originally planned I think I will just get the xlw wings and wait a bit longer to get into the sup foil side of things, I still have a long road on my kite foil journey :D

Re: Zeeko Spitfire Hydrofoil

Hi zeeko ( and everyone else) I have a couple questions. I currently have the spitfire with just the original smaller wings, I had been planning to buy the xlw wings as well. Now I am wondering if maybe I just buy the xxlw wings instead. I am interested in doing some sup foiling but probably won't j...

Re: Airush Ultra: one strut kite that meets expectations of a ram air lover

SURF and TT Review: 2018 9m ultra. 17-21 knots side-onshore wind, 2-3 foot waves, 80kg rider, 20m lines, jimmy lewis surfboard and then a crazyfly carbon TT. Very powerful for it's size, I was on the 9m and everyone else on 12ms (riding TT). Again it's a super fast kite and flies very close to edge...

Re: Begginer strapless surf board - North nugget, airush mini monster or suggestions

I have not ridden the latest versions of either of these boards but I have ridden their predecessors- the older less boxy nugget and the airush cypher which was a very similar shape to the Mini monster. Both of these boards will make a great choice for your intended use. The Mini monster will be a b...

What flyboy and dwx have said sums up my thoughts exactly. To criticize this act shows a lack of understanding and appreciation

Good on you Nuno you are truly a legend

Re: World Record 19m / 63ft ! Largest Wave Ever Kitesurfed

I am going to be so brash as to suggest that all the people being critical on this thread are not people who have significant experience in real waves of consequence Sure the simple act of riding along the wave is not highly technical but there are just so many other factors and aspects to the feat ...

Re: Airush Union vs. Ultra

I'm looking to put together an airush quiver 7-9 wave and 12 ultra. Strapless wave riding is my primary focus ( in life  ) I feel like for wave riding in smaller sizes and stronger winds the wave would beat the ultra in fast turning and responsiveness. But in lighter winds the ultra would win ...

Re: Strapless board shape?

That is good advice, rocker, outline, width, length and volume all come into play to effect the way a board rides Generally speaking the flatter wider and less pointy shapes are better for smaller waves and lighter winds, are easier to learn to ride strapless on, will often go upwind better, to are ...

Re: Stranded kitesurfer used Apple watch to call for a ride

I’ve already used mine to find my wife when see aborted our ocean downwinder half way into our run. It was sick to iMessage her and find out what street she was at for pickup. It sure beats kiting with a huge, expensive, cell phone around your neck. Yes using Smart watches and other mobile devices ...
