Re: Naish Pivot jumping - Difficult to predict

Hi have you tried changing the wing tip setting to the strongest bar pressure (the furthest from the wing tip) I found this to be the best setting for twin tip riding, it gives a little more grunty turns.

I had a 10m pivot and it was a good boosting kite

Re: Ambitious kiter looking for a two-kite-quiver

Having thought it over you will definitely need a 7m or smaller for your smallest kite! At your weight do not go bigger than 7m for your smallest kite, I would say 7 and 10 would be a perfect combo. In the summer you will get alot of use out of your 7m as the afternoon thermal Seabreeze often gets t...

Re: Ambitious kiter looking for a two-kite-quiver

Hi I am from western Australia, an 8+11 combo or even a 7m +10 will be the best choice for a 2 kite quiver in WA. We get some really strong winds here and at your weight you will need to consider the top end! My advice would be a 7 and 10 pivot+ twin tip+ surfboard you will be covered from 15 knots ...

Re: Once upon a time, before foiling as we know it...

The video raises an interesting point in the caption at the end "why did it take so long to catch on" Realistically it would have been possible to design and build foils with the functionality and usability of todays foils but the R and D and the market drive wasn't there, but why did it take so long?

Re: Zeeko Spitfire Hydrofoil

Thanks very much for the replies zeeko and everyone else, as I had originally planned I think I will just get the xlw wings and wait a bit longer to get into the sup foil side of things, I still have a long road on my kite foil journey :D

Re: Zeeko Spitfire Hydrofoil

Hi zeeko ( and everyone else) I have a couple questions. I currently have the spitfire with just the original smaller wings, I had been planning to buy the xlw wings as well. Now I am wondering if maybe I just buy the xxlw wings instead. I am interested in doing some sup foiling but probably won't j...

Re: Airush Ultra: one strut kite that meets expectations of a ram air lover

SURF and TT Review: 2018 9m ultra. 17-21 knots side-onshore wind, 2-3 foot waves, 80kg rider, 20m lines, jimmy lewis surfboard and then a crazyfly carbon TT. Very powerful for it's size, I was on the 9m and everyone else on 12ms (riding TT). Again it's a super fast kite and flies very close to edge...

Re: Begginer strapless surf board - North nugget, airush mini monster or suggestions

I have not ridden the latest versions of either of these boards but I have ridden their predecessors- the older less boxy nugget and the airush cypher which was a very similar shape to the Mini monster. Both of these boards will make a great choice for your intended use. The Mini monster will be a b...

What flyboy and dwx have said sums up my thoughts exactly. To criticize this act shows a lack of understanding and appreciation
