Re: Hydrofoil Aerial Transitions

Hi fun2kite, a light foil as moses fits well for sure. Easy first arial transition is starting toeside: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dCSEkh9g_Ck&feature=youtu.be&t=3m43s Next step can be to do the same heelside and switch feet in the air: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LAW6cKcd8hQ&feature=youtu....

Re: Trouble with kite lines

Has anyone ever seen this before? Am I on the right track of connecting those two end pieces to the control bar? Hi lucas, yes this is standard bridle for nearly all foil kites since more than 10 years, so should be all fine with your kite. But as it sounds you don't know what you are doing, take i...

Re: Kite for 18+ knots

I have the 9 hyperlink and have tried the 12. I also sail in conditions that get very choppy with fast rolling swell and waves when the wind picks up to over 20 knts, and this has made me decide not to go for a tiny hyperlink, I need my high wind, big chop kite to be 100% reliable in water starting ...

Re: concept air pulsion

Yes always take care about compatibility of safety, but as most LEI s use frontline and also most foil kites do, most time it is not a problem. I am very happy with this one on my ConceptAir https://www.kiteattitude.fr/en/37-barre-universelle-starter.html Especially from the price to value aspect. I...

Re: Kite loop to waterstart

Hi Steve, don't think to much about which way to loop and so on, just blocks your head. In my eyes it is much more about experience and many small adjustments, - find the perfect board direction in the right moment - actively stand up not letting the kite do all the work - loop it as wide and powerf...

Re: Hyperlink size recommedation

Frank Rosin and my regional dealer say a 9M would right. Others are are saying 12m - I also would tend to 12 m² especially when you are not so good as Frank and you want to go one day with shorter lines. (Better don't go with short lines first, but maybe first better even longer as 24 m, than short...

Re: FS speed 5 vs Sonic V1

I've got used Sonic FR v1 a couple of weeks ago. It is a dream. ... ...Back launch did not try. Every thing is easy as long everything goes straight and no problems have to be handled. But TT is not HF . Fling jibes on a HF are pretty difficult and can become dangerous if there is a lack of kite co...

Re: Concept Air Smart Wave 6.5 & 4.5 & 3

Hi Stef, yes you are 100 % right, the kite is great in all what it was made for. And in fact the first emails with Ben I was discussing more about Pulsion 3,7 m² (why the hell all call it 3,69 m² ?) But on the end, some how it went the 4,5 m² as maybe Ben thought it could fit better to my demands. A...

Re: FS speed 5 vs Sonic V1

Hi Tom, I know it is always a good chance if you know the owner. On the other hand I would recommend to listen to people with lot of experience with foil kites as Regis-de-giens and I would not sell my sonic1 to somebody with your foil and foil kite experience as knowing it will be the wrong kite. W...

Re: Levitaz Vs. Ghost Whisperer

Looking to purchase a new Foil for the 2018 season. Something for Speed, Stability, Durability & light wind use. I realize there is a compromise between all these attributes. But I'd like to hear anyones input on these 2 foils. I am not a Pro Racer, although I like to be faster then my friends, & r...
