Re: Fone mirage 1000 vs Moses 633

The entire F-one mechanical solution is a nightmare. ... I have to disagree...IMO its brilliant! .. As an additional info. Fone have a complete new plug and play system for 2019. Also heard that story about rubber hammer+fone, but for sure the old version. The basic problem I see which does not hit...

Re: Ozone R1 V3 is out?

Just to prevent confusion: As it looks to me: Ozone now launches what I would call R1 "V3.2" after they already launched a R1 "V3.1beta" 1,5 year ago, which as I heard was not so succesful, especially for the racers not better than the very succesful V2, why they pulled it back? https://www.ozonekit...

Re: Monofoil or "riding stabless", setup and riding

Trying out some "drifting "(sideways sliding on the foil) The Stabless foil makes it easier to slide sideways, lots of fun :) :D 2 years ago in post 9 it was presaged, that once there will come an experienced, able to drift a foil . :thumb: Very nice one, also tried drifting more the last month and...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

@Tomtom Additioally to what Regis-de-giens already explained and I agree with, I am also not sure how compfortable a 3 m² Peak4 will feel in more than 30 knts of wind as especially here no experience with single Skins. It can be that flapping and therefore bar shaking is not so relaxing anymore. I t...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

Sorry for all the questions but I've never tried a single skin foil :) For those who have never tried, compared to a closed cell foil: - more power per m² factor by 1,2 - 1,5 - a bit less windrange - less upwind - extrem light weight and therefore great lightwind stability - depower feel inbetween ...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

Adventure Logs: There is a video of a Peak started out of the water: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l6jT3k__T84 I remember that I tested the Peak 1 myself first in the water and relaunched it after a little drop and even did this with a 1999 open cell Mosquito: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TgrDY...

Re: Ozone Explore V1

You must be talking about the earliest single skin paragliders long before FS Peak no doubt? Yes right, everybody is copying from each other and also the closed tip cell as the Peak 4 http://kiteforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=197&t=2401224&sid=d51ca53f3ffe4e5dad88c362e4a1d576 succesfully uses for more p...

Flysurfer Peak 4

Hi everybody, even if I don't snow and land kite anymore significantly. I wanted to test the new Peak 4. The single skin concept of the Peak to me is not only something to bring you to the peak, but much more a "Do what you want" toy, as you see also in our old video of Peak 3: https://kitejunkie.co...

Re: Recognize this mast?

... I’d like to buy one in a 60-70 cm length... Hi John, sorry never seen this construction but, also never seen anything similar from point of force transmission. The top head on the end is a box system similar to known kf-box or tuttle with the difference that those boxes have more than the doppl...

Re: Large compact wings for surfing on a hydrofoil

Hi Peter, I was also impressed by the upwind, as the conditions have been far far from good and the very fat round leading edge of Gong wings doesn't look like high performer. - With a AR 7 carbon mono wing, a streamlined wetsuit and a 11 m² sonic race the best upwind: 28°out of 4 following tacks, w...
