I added to the end of the 5th line. I also eventually had to lenthen back lines when front lines had stretched to far to compensate with adjustments on stock setup. There is some info at go kiting.

How much do you weigh Weirdfish? Do you think the Vegas had more low end than a typical 12M? That has been said of the R6.

My wife and at least one other female kiter have had trouble tweeking their bar to shorter arms. She also has small enough feet that having a small footstrap would probably help too. I suppose the market for women specialized gear is small but growing.
