Re: Half a Zeeko windfoil = Spitfire monofoil

I’m not sure if there is a specific Spitfire Windfoil in planning but I’m going with what’s there.

Re: Half a Zeeko windfoil = Spitfire monofoil

The Spitfire Windfoil XXLW is with 90cm mast. With a clear no jumping directive from Zeeko. Mine is on its way, and while I expect it to be slower and draggy-er than a normal Windfoil. It will be great to try with a board that will allow also Sup and Surf foiling wit same kit. As mono setup. Has any...

Re: Holes in aluminum mast

This is what happens when you underestimate the forces on the mast when you design foils. -- Gunnar Hey Gunnar, how did this happen? Does using a tuttle box put more stress on the mast than a plate? The actual load point is right where the Tuttle mount stops an mast is free. In side load this is al...

And one kite. 8m Zeeko Notus Air with choice of 20-24-28m lines Coped the whole wind range but kited 12-32kts. If I wasn’t so lazy I would have gone down to 20m lines f...

Re: “Light” wind tubes

While weight is important. The two factors I see as most advantageous are the reverse relaunch and quick turning. I believe a true foiling Lei focuses on quick turning to make up for the fact that using longer lines is important to get into a wind range with a smaller kite that won’t overpower you w...

Re: Best place to learn to foil on East Coast

Getting 3 days in a row is the best way to improve Even with your Spitfire all the basics still apply Use a front strap and start with back foot over or slightly in front of mast then inch back till takeoff is controlled. Then pitch control happens with muscle memory. Trying to keep height at half m...
