Re: The Pansh A15, an A18 review

Just my 50cents: Had a measure at a 9m pansh a15 today: Mixer is A:B:C:Z = 0:+4,5:+4,5:-4 expected was: A:B:C:Z = 0:+5,5:+5,5:0 b78 was 283,5cm expected was 288,5cm. So pansh work on Bridles without indexing the kites revision. Kerp in mind everything we are stating here is generally right, but due ...

Re: The Pansh A15, an A18 review

You have given up on backweighted mixer? For now. Its not a general thing, its more the fact, thats a hard B with double engagement like bw mixer does 0:2:3:4, leads to a strong power/depower behavior. So conventional 0:1:2:4 mixer leads to softer development of power, which feels nice. BW mixer wo...

Re: The Pansh A15, an A18 review

Hi, good to hear - new ideas always welcome. It takes energy to reset and/or test something new - but thats how were progessing. I must admit going back from backweighted to conventional mixer design, strengthening Z system and getting rid of stability issues - but its a long way to get really happy...

Re: The Pansh A15, an A18 review

Congretulations, great news. C info is very interesting. As said I had heavy collapses with my tests, maybe I was wrong on another side. We‘ll see where things go, impressive how complx changes may feel, and how easy and plausible they are, when onethelf is understanding what change has what effect....

Re: The Pansh A15, an A18 review

puh, inspired by the famous ideas of incredible Flysurfers, I decided to put some little helper lines in the knots of my mixers. Former evaluations with rubber rings were not successful through breaking through stress. Lines are 0,5mm liros DC60, spliced with 0,3mm steel wire... 723F90F5-4D27-404F-9...

Re: The Pansh A15, an A18 review

Your Z5 change seems weird... Forgot to answer this: z1...z4 is engaged from z1234 which is shortend by 28cm z5..z8 is engaged by z5678 which is shortend by 17cm z5 is between those different engagements in my tweak. To make it nice working I found a little shortening of it works better. But there ...

Re: The Pansh A15, an A18 review

I think I will implement your bridle rearrangement at the tips. Flattening Z like that should improve stability, I would think only altering z1234 for -11 then Z main for the remaining -17 would be better. Your Z5 change seems weird but I gather it's to do with the change to c56 and A? and again wh...

Re: The Pansh A15, an A18 review

Just to clarify some of the language you use, a bit lost in translation for me, "resleaved" do you mean move? as in you moved B bridles at the tip onto the A bridle. That sounds like a good Idea I might try it. uups, Thanks for the hint! Resleaving is a typo I ment resleeving from sleeve, which men...

Re: The Pansh A15, an A18 review

Hello together, here are the updated values: Updated_A15_BWMixert.png I colored for the purpose of assignment: green: the Z bridle tweak: I cant imagine why I didn't got my tweaks a year ago werent successful. I always had kite collapses at my first tries with regular mixer setup. This tweak should ...
