Re: Prodigy??

Who's flying them and what do you think. Some reviews make it sound like a beginner kite, whatever that is. And most others say it's a great all around kite, and pretty good wave kite. I also have read its good in gusty wind and depowers really well, all attributes I really like. I have a 12m Flite...

Re: Hard Wearing Low Stretch Lines

Aside from the considerable extra cost vs buying a spool, is there anything wrong with buying the Q-Power Pro lines finished off with a sewn loop on each end? https://kiteboarding.com/proddetail.asp?prod=q-powerline_pro_lineset If they last for many years I could justify the premium cost. For refere...

Re: How hard?

Very funny, but that's the kind of method I'm trying to get away from. Put another 10 pumps in and the flick sounds even better, but which one is better for the kite? Too subjective and prone to too much variance day to day.

How hard?

Is there a universal way to know how much air to put into a kite? Not taking about trusting a $1.00 pump gauge or the finger flick to leading edge (too subjective for my liking). Rather a sure fire method for evaluating no matter the brand, to at very least get you reasonably close. I believe I tend...

Re: Switch Lineup

First post here as I don’t usually hang out on these forums but I think it might be helpful to provide an "average joe" review on the Helium 3 as folks would be interested to hear from someone who has actually ridden the kite. I've got the 8 and 10m Helium 3, with about an hour on each so far. I’m ...

Re: I'll have to change my name now North Kiteboarding is no more..

If everything else stays the same, kites made at same factory, kites look the same, same designers, just a different name on the kite, they can pull it off with a savy media blitz. I wonder if they'll be able to keep model names like Neo and Rebel, or will those stay with the North name? That could ...

Better spell it properly ;-)

Oh and accept a fully diverse existence and sexual orientation..like all North Riders ;-)
Hmm, Pink, you spelled it "Dutone" yet your username is "Duotone", so which is it?
All quite fishy to me.
