Re: Gear that has exceeded your expectations!

Great search. I too would love to hear about exciting twintips, after having been in surfboards exclusively I want to get back into big air again. For me, the RRD Religion wave kite blew my mind. Total control, power on demand. Not sure you are looking for a wavekite, though. My waveboard puts a big...

Re: How to fall correctly?

Two hands in the middle of the bar, kite depowered somewhat. Focus on keeping your kite in the air. This helps keeping your orientation. This also helps not extending one of your arms towards the water, a natural though silly reaction. It opens up your ribs on one side for some unnecessary impact......

Re: RRD lines (rigid, white ones), where to get a spare set in Europe (at a good price)?

I went on the same search, because I liked the RRD lines, and ended up buying the whole bar, because that turned out to be relatively cheap. More expensive than just lines....but my stick was getting old anyway. Just a tip. I bought mine at surf shop Burgas, online. Good service. They mailed it to t...

Re: Leading Edge Bulge

My RRD Religions don't seem to suffer any LEB :-). I pump them up hard and they are still in great nick. Why would kites with higher torsional stiffness turn slower? Wouldn't it be the other way around? My old kites had LEBes....they were getting on though, and had large diameter LEs. Religions have...

Sorry, have to agree with jumptheshark here. I doubt justagirl has ever flown a wavekite.

^^ I'm with him ^^

A Go Joe is a very safe way of keeping an eye on your board. Only real safe solution out there really. Mind you, you usually will find your board.

Re: 11 or 12?

If they are all the same kite, of the same year, I'd go for 11. If not...I'd still go for 11. The larger the kites, the larger the gap in between can be.

As a rule. Pemba makes a good point.
