Re: Ozone leading edge bladder failures?

For my leaking V1 Enduro's I was offered a pretty good deal for new V2 Enduro's, hopefully they"ll last a bit longer. A couple of weeks ago I had a "mid-air blow-out" at one of the wingtips of my 10 v9 Edge. (used about 40 sessions of 1.5 hours, spread over about 2 years). The repair shop suggested ...

Re: Ozone Enduro V3 Release Date ?

Suggestion for improvement : provide the V3 Enduro with thicker / stronger LE bladder. I'm having a lot of vague small leaks in my V1 9- and 12 Enduro. It's now come to a point where I've been offered 2 New V2 Enduro's (for a reasonable price), but who's to say these will last? I practically only ki...

Re: Ozone leading edge bladder failures?

A kite buddy of mine just had all his bladders replaced (under warranty) of his 12 meter v2 Enduro, apparently something to do with bacteria in the glue for the bladders. (???) Never heard of this before.... In the meantime my 9 and 12 v1 Enduro's (100% without sand in the Boston valve threads and g...

Re: LE bladder wear by elastic bladder retainer inside tip (Ozone)

I have 2 Enduro's, a 9 and a 12, both v1's, bought them both new. I haven't used the 12 much, about 15 times only and it's on to it's second leak already. I have used the nine about 30 times and it's now on to it's first leak. Really disappointed in the "Ozone quality." The kites look really great o...

Re: Ozone leading edge bladder failures?

https://kiteforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2397042&start=30 I have a similar issue with my 12m v1 Enduro, the problem started after having used the kite about 10 times. Very "vague" leakage, I think it's due to the construction of the wing tips, see the above-referenced thread. The le bladder has bee...

Re: Ozone Edge V9: Post Pictures & Information Here

Let us know the outcome of this Cees? Recently I did an accurate "bridle check" of my 10 meter V9 Edge (see the bridle check table on the Ozone website) All the bridle lengths A1 to A5 have to be measurd from the LE instead of from the attachment knots. (which I did initially) The bridle lengths we...

Re: Ozone Edge V9: Post Pictures & Information Here

The backline setting should be on standard when the kite (and lines) are new. The other settings are for trimming for line stretch, according to the information on page 13 of the manual. Recently I noticed on my 10 m V9 Edge that on both sides of the kite the outermost bridle segment remains quite s...

Re: Ozone edge V8 stitching on leading edge

Interesting thread, so is the segmented bulging OK as long as the seem isn't pulling away? If the stitching looks fine - don't give it a second thought. Virtually any product under close examination has build tolerances and are susceptible from minor damage due to misuse (overinflation, etc). I use...

Re: Ozone edge V8 stitching on leading edge

Contact Ozone. They actually do read and reply to emails. Weeks ago I sent Ozone 3 (polite) messages concerning the LE problems of my, by now "ex" - 11 metre Ozone Edge (via the contact form on their website www.flyozone.com), until now no feedback from Ozone whatsoever. (also not via the importer ...
