Re: New control bar front lines shorter than back lines

jacovitale- Why would you check the line lenghts on a new bar? Didn't your kite flew well? Are you 100% sure you did the check right? Did you let the trimsystem out to full power? Here is a video from 2018 showing how to do it; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TT0ra_oM2nI Yes I realized when I tried...

Re: How to launch your friend while flying your kite

If the wind is sideshore, why don't they change position 180 degrees? The launcher on the outside, keeping his kite above the sea. It must be safer this way. I have done this in choppy conditions, dropping my kite on the wingtip in the water and used both my hands launching an other kiter. Not sure ...

It definitely needs to be a separate category. It’s way too easy to jump higher than water Kiters. I’ve had jumps last well over ten minutes and have been hundreds of feet in the air taking off from a hill.
That is not a jump. That is pure gliding. :)

Re: Ad blocker message

Cleared browsing data for kiteforum on Opera on my windows pc. No change, tried turning it off-on. No ad blocker, no blocking of tracking cookies and no kiteforum.
Had this problem also on my Android phone running Opera today, but after turning off adblock everything works fine.

Re: Ad blocker message

Same trouble on Opera on my pc, didn't block kiteforum from before. Have turned off adblock completely, but still the same. Will try to clear browsing data to see if that helps.

Super cool! :D Looks like a hybrid between gliding and jumping from the position of the kite. Any thoughts about this ?

Re: Which is the durability of a carbon foil?

Would corrosion be a problem with aluminium in fresh water?

Re: Neck rash caused by helmet strap

You can also try to put on a water proof plaster on that area before you go kiting.

Re: How do you glide?

Yes, find a hill with deep snow and no rocks, and start in the lower part of it. And you must be able to control rotations. Gliding can be fatal if you screw up. Small steps! We always fly backwards, but I have seen someone flying forwards with a tube kite, as they do with foil kites In this video y...
