Re: Liftfoils materials and durability

Lift guys are amazing at support and will fix most of the problems. Mine have been great. I looove the foils and the 2018 is even more solid.

Re: Outer Banks foiling spots

Just got back from foiling at OBX. Found a few spots but did not enjoy it. The biggest problem is weeds - tons of them, floating all over the bay above and below the surface. There are so many little strands of brown weeds that it makes foiling everywhere near impossible for more than a few minutes.

Re: Airush Ultra: one strut kite that meets expectations of a ram air lover

Tested the Ultra 15 on a calm day. Decided to keep the 13.4 Cloud D.

Re: Rider feedback please - Rebel 2018 on 4 and 5 vs 2017

I thought the 2016 was the best year for the 5 line Rebel, 2017 was not as good. 2018 4 line rocks. Haters - try it out for 2-3 FULL days on the click bar and then post. An hour session on the kites will not do either kite justice. Solid review - thx. Just out of curiosity, how does the 16 Rebel pe...

Re: Airush Ultra: one strut kite that meets expectations of a ram air lover

@Mitaka - quite a bit of truth to what you are saying, but in winds that light, weight is almost everything. Design of kite/ratio can help a tiny, but weight triumphs everything. The Cloud 13.4D will fly better in less wind than the 15m Ultra. That's a fact - I tried it. However, based on a beach te...

Re: Airush Ultra: one strut kite that meets expectations of a ram air lover

Finally tried the 15 Ultra, but this time on a twin tip – too shallow to foil when I was visiting at Outer Banks. For a twintip it's super friendly and gets it going around 12 mile wind on a small 137/40 board. Low bar pressure, turns relatively fast. Feels a bit like OR Flite, but w/o boosting chop...

Re: North Rebel 2018

Finally rode and compared for two full days on the new 2018 and my 2016 Rebels 12 and 9 at OBX. (as well as a 2018 Neo). Being used to the 2016 Rebel, I was quite disappointed at first and thought the 5 line Rebel's "I'm going to grab you by the back of your shirt and throw you up in the sky" feelin...
