Re: Do expensive wetsuits last longer?

The wearing out of the sholders is usaully due to two factors. UV from the sun catches the tops of your sholders the most and results in the material breaking down faster. Throw a rashie overtop to help prevent this Secondly, sholders on wetties fall apart because they are being hung up to dry on a ...

Re: Poll - experienced kiters vs non experienced

Just to be clear, you're asking our opinion of what percentage of kiters started less than four years ago?

Re: go-joe

Now I generally have two TTs I bring to the beach and if it is any sort of wavy, both get pumped up. $80 is cheap insurance. Another body dra...

Colombia, January 2018

Few questions for those that have been to Cabo de la Vela My brother and I are returning to Colombia again for four weeks in January and plan on a week to get PADI, a week in Medellin, and then a couple weeks unplanned/Kitesurfing and I hear Cabo de la Vela is the place to go. My brother has no expe...

Board bag for multipbe TTs

I'm looking for a bag that can hold 2-3 TTs with out removing the fins and bindings with dividers between the boards. I often put my gear in my work truck if I know there is going to be wind but stacking the boards with towels in between is a pain in the ass, especially if I have to move it all arou...

Re: Shell ? Stuck in leading edge

Never had to do this with shells but managed to wash sand out of an old bladder by pumping it up with a bit of water to wash the sand to the deflate hole

Re: Pinhole woes

Thanks for the advise everybody. I don't think the leak is in the one pump system as I could see bubbles around where the bridle attaches to the leading edge fabric. I am going to inflate the bladder in the kite again and get a more accurate picture of the where with soapy water. Then I will pull it...

Pinhole woes

I'm calling out for expertise, My 12m Switchblade, which I may or may not have tomahawked into a guard tower, has a pinhole in the leading edge. This is what i have done so far: Pumped it up and pinched off the struts, in the morning the LE was limp and the struts were solid. Pumped it up again and ...
