Re: Dwarfcraft 4’6” to Dwarfcraft 3’6”?

Also riding 3’6 majority of time now, so much fun! Only using my Alien Air for very light winds.

Switching feet on hydrofoil (gybe)

Probably not the first one to ask this, but anyone has any tips for switching feet before or after gybe? I would love to do what Greg from Maui Cloud does, but unfortunately it is super hard 😆 I can ride shoulders forward, but only by sliding my feet slowly. Any tips on how to progress?

Re: Shoulders Forward?

Tried this today, works great! I would have no idea how to water start in this position though...

Any tips on moving your feet around on the board while foiling? I have been struggling with this for a while now and have resorted to sliding my feet.

Re: Who is this guy? Video from 2002.

I also wonder about the Jesus Walk...when did Jeremie invent it? But can be they did it parallel, so Jeremie didn’t know about this guy and his tricks... The website doesn't have a date, but it seems recent. He may not have known about it, maybe he was just the first to coin it - but he certainly w...

Re: Who is this guy? Video from 2002.

Amazing how talented this guy is, he would have been a pro in these days for sure.

If this is from 2002, why does Jeremy Tronet claim he invented the Jesus Walk? https://www.surfertoday.com/kiteboardin ... teboarding

Re: Moving To Miami?

Woudn't Amsterdam be ground zero? Isn't Amsterdam already below ground zero? Anyway, it's not just FL, it's EVERYWHERE. It will have an effect on everyone everywhere. In the short term, I would be far more worried about access to safe kitesurfing launches in Miami since our local govt loves to use ...

Please, keep politics out of this. Never a good outcome!
What politics? :nono: Rising sealevels are scientific fact.

If someone promotes Miami Beach property on this forum, it should also be allowed there is a major risk from rising sealevels.

Re: Moving To Miami?

Umm... Palm Beach as well. I'm 17 ft. above sea level, so I'm not sure about the entire city being underwater. Certainly the sewer system won't work well without pumps, etc. and the Biscayne aquifer will be contaminated with seawater (I believe Palm Beach is supplied by this aquifer). Also, FL is a...

Re: Moving To Miami?

I love Miami Beach, one of the best places in the world for foiling. That being said, I would never want to own property there - with current sealevel rise the entire city could be underwater within decades, sadly! https://www.bloomberg.com/news/features/2017-12-29/south-florida-s-real-estate-reckon...
