Slingshot future line

On the night of Turbine 2017 release there was Slingshot Z posted on kites section of their web page. I believe it was in sizes 3.5/6/9/13m basically covering popular beginner sizes. It's an interesting bet, in light of smaller Turbines whether 2018 Rally will be released at all and reemerging Sling...

Re: Predictions for Ram Airs in 2017

You've heard of "Carthage must be destroyed" senate speech, right :)
Material gets read, and when it comes to time to pay for a kite a novice will get an inflatable. Simple.

Re: Effect of split point on bar trim

why are you guys discussing those? Just buy a proper bar where all lines are of equal length. It's safer too.

Re: SS turbine 2014vs2015vs2017

2015 has large inflation valve which is a big deal for 17m size. As far as I know 2015-2016-2017 in sizes 15/17m are quite same kite with maybe different resale value (even that depends on use)

Re: SS Rally vs. SS Turbine... (12M vs. 13M)

Oh, those are quite disappointing weighs for smaller sizes. While 15m is exactly same weight (8.8 lbs.) as 2015 15m model, the 11m is 8.2 lbs. which matches my 11.5m Kahoona and I was hoping to stay closer to 6.2 lbs. of my 10m Rally 2012.

Re: Predictions for Ram Airs in 2017

Just back from a week in Turks an Caicos on Long Beach, one of the most perfect kiteboarding places I have yet to see. The best kitesurfer there was flying a ram air Chronos and doing more tricks and making higher jumps and going faster, further upwind than anyone else. He was also on the water lon...

Re: MHL Lift 2013 or Moses Fluente for Learning

I am wanting to learn to foilboard . I have been kiting for over 10 years with no directional experience If you weren't into racing till now you won't outgrow the 2013 MHL any soon. Expect to waste couple of days learning before you start foiling. Wear a helmet and floatation vest. Put straps as fa...
