Re: Moses 2018

Has anyone tested the new 558 and 590 wings? Just sold my 2017 Fluente (550 + 330 stabilizer). Thinking of buying a Vorace (101) mast and a 330 stabilizer, but am debating between the 558 and 590 front wing. I'm still learning how to foil gybe and tack (I have no problems switching my feet with a q...

Re: Short Leash Vs Long Leash

Other short leash pros/cons: + will not drag you backwards in event of a deathlooping kite - can't use it as a shoulder strap when carrying all the gear wrapped into the harness + compact and doesn't dangle around as much - can't use it to hook in the kite behind you and walk back if you have to wal...

Re: First foil - Slingshot hoverglide ?

Adding more info I'm aware that it's quite a heavy setup, much like the Cabrinha Double agent which I can get used for a good price (although I've read that it's a dud outdated and slow foil). It depends a lot what are you going to want to do with your foil. If speed is your passion, then you'd like...

Re: Which Bar?

A quick question yesterday I tried to use my north click bar on my best 9.5 kahuna and it seemed to be back stalling..Do I need to use a best bar made for that kite? Or what type of adjustment can I make..what is the right bar for that kite? Not sure if you flown that Kahoona before - the Kahoonas ...

Re: First foil - Slingshot hoverglide ?

Has anyone tried the Slingshot boards Alien air vs Drwarfcraft and compared the two ? I learnt on MHL Lift 2013. Medium-Low aspect wing, 35.5" mast. It wasn't easy beginning but I started foiling on 3'rd session. Tried the Hoverglide later and didn't like it as it needed more speed to start foiling...

Re: -ing gear for the lightest of the winds

...I now ride about the same sizes I'd ride to be powered on a twintip (15m up to 16 kts, 11m up to low 20s). That's foiling progression :) 1. regular size kite for learning 2. "hell yeah, I can foil under much smaller kite" once you've got it 3. "I can handle more power" (and back to regular size)...

Re: -ing gear for the lightest of the winds

I have to admit, I'm a believer in the Pulsion and big wing combination now! At a race last weekend, one morning wind was light and slightly offshore, so races were postponed. Two high level racers (both have finished top 20 in HF Pro Tour events) went out anyway on new 20m-21m race foil kites with...
