Re: Dakhla in late Dec / early Jan

Absolute great spot consistent wind and amazing downwinders. I'll be there myself this year working at the too kite spot . If you want I can help you arrange the trip or even point you in the right direction What downwinders do you recommend? We'll probably stay on the lagoon because my wife is a b...

Re: Dakhla in late Dec / early Jan

Thanks everyone for the feedback and tips! It mirrors what I found in my research, so I feel more confident.

Ultimately I don't think I'm physically capable of kiting 7 days in a row, so a couple down days wont be the end of the world

Dakhla in late Dec / early Jan

Zika basically rule out the couple other destinations I was considering, so now I'm heading to Morocco towards the end of the year.

Any tips from anyone thats been or been that time of year?

Re: Best Wetsuit for kitesurf? 4/3

I have an R3 Patagonia and it's been fine for 2 years

It feels a touch thinner than other 3/2s and has been just as warm

Linemounts and Core kites

I'd like to mount a Camrig line mount with a GoPro to my Core XR4, and I'd just like some extra detail on how the XR4 flagging system works so I do it right. (I'm asking because I know there are risks to adding line mounts at all, and extra risk if you mount them stupidly) The second part of my ques...

Re: Quite quiver question, should I add a Core XR4/5 15m

Are any of you sharing a quiver? How does that typically work out? Given theres a 40lb weight difference, my wife would always be down a kite size I think. Not necessarily. If she wants to ride a tt powered and you want a strapless surf slightly underpowered for waves, might be same kite size. Happ...

Re: Upgrading to a new board

I just rode the core fusion yesterday with a the carved straps... and it blew my mind. I'm riding a 146 Slingshot misfit , and I could not believe how much better that board was in every way. I've never really felt "pop" before, and this thing just popped me out of the water. It turned faster, and h...

Re: lightwind surfboard

I’ve slowly been moving into riding a directional from a twintip and I’ve really loved my 5’2 North Nugget.

I’m still leaning how to jibe / switch my feet, but getting up and riding in light winds was super easy.

I’ve never been on another surf board, so I have no point of comparison.
