Re: Help! RPM 2011 or 2012

I would check to see if the 2011 has the "Splitstrut" construction. I can't remember exactly when they changed, but it was in the last year or so.

Re: East Coaster relocating to California - Where should I l

Thanks SSK - Great summary that will really help others make decision. I am torn with the cost of living and the possibility of having to give up my place in OBX :(

Re: East Coaster relocating to California - Where should I l

Anyone else care to comment? Is Huntington 10mph average with gusts to 18 or late afternoon with averages of 18 with higher gusts? Whats the kiting scene like in Ventura and Santa Barbara? Is it windy enough for a 10M-12M powered for down the line and jumping at least a few days a week? I am used to...

East Coaster relocating to California - Where should I look?

I am considering a possible job relocation to Southern/Central California and want to know the best town to kite and raise a family. I have a 3yr old and 4 month old so schools and kid friendly towns will become more important as they get older. I can live anywhere about an hour from a major airport...

Re: Help!!!! Drivng on Hatteras Beaches outlawed!!!!

On Friday, April 4th, 2008, a hearing is scheduled in Federal Court in Raleigh North Carolina that could result in partial or even complete closure of the beaches of Cape Hatteras National Seashore Recreational Area to four-wheel drive use. History of the Cape Hatteras National Recreational Seashore...

Re: Tug Hill, NY

Does anyone have any updates for conditions on the Hill? I heard it was snowing crazy right now with sleet and freezing rain farther south. The road trip up looks to be a challenge.

Best Islands in Greece?

Hey all, I am heading to Greece the beginning of Sep and want to know where I can find some good riding. I am familiar with Paros and Naxos but now I want waves. Is there any riding in Crete that time of the year? How about a place with waves? I have seen some pics of epic waves in Crete but I think...

July can be windy, anything from a 7M - 18m might be needed depending on your weight. My biggest kite is a 15. If a weather system comes through, the Ocean will tend to be windier if it is NE the normal S-SW is much stronger in the bay. Ocean City is really really crowded during the day on the weeke...
