Not the UK.

Some great spots here for the sport. $100k will get you nothing though.

Re: Slingshot Foil Kite (is it really an Elf?)

According to their website the 11m is $2775 USD (I'm in the US so I'm not calculating VAT or export duties). The 15m is $3280, the 18m is $3780. Given that you could get a new race kite for that money, I'm curious why there isn't really ANY info whatsoever on their site about why this kite is worth...

Re: Slingshot Foil Kite (is it really an Elf?)

I used to like slingshot but lately have just been put off by them . Their horrible graphics on their boards in the past few years are just a turnoff to me . Seems like the designer spends most of his time doing some sort of drugs before he begins work as no clear minded person would design such sh...

Try asking in the swaylocks forum. I got a lot of help from the forum experts there when I built my SUP.

Re: Is this worth fixing?

Better lose weight if you want that foil to stop breaking  Yeah you're right. Running into a sand bar at full speed, mid-gybe, with a fully-powered kite had nothing to do with it. Tell us again how you're such a nice guy and everyone loves you on the beach and you can't get no respeck on here?...

Re: Cutting down an alloy mast

I'm pretty sure the thread is NOT all the way through. You'll need a tap of the correct size and pitch and a slight skill of hand to tap it. And as previously stated cut it square in the x and y.
