Re: Flag beach or sotaviento?

Flag Beach (my home spot) 1) Works in most wind directions exept North East. The wind is usually very clean. 2) Rocky at low tide, with 2 rock-free entry points. At high tide all the rocks are under water 3) It can get pretty crowded near the shore, but there is space on the water. 4) Besides Flag ...

Looping technique, XR 5

When looping my XR5 7 m with one hand, say in a transition jump, I somehow have a tendency of only getting to just before 12, i.e. going right, transitioning left, looping left, it will often only go to about 13. This is opposed to the same looping technique and touch on a XR5 10 m, where this does ...

Thank you for the interview. This is still incredibly impressive to watch, the video gets even better with the context.

Re: WMFG Big Pump - does it work with 2016- North kites and Core kites?
my 7M GTS which I normally use for strong winds and small waves (all we have here in Denmark). I was considering an XR3 or a Free. Do you have any advice for me in that department? I am an advanced intermediate rider and probably always will be. :-) Kirk
I love boosting on the XR5....

I taught kiting from 2003-2009 or so, and still occasionally teach friends for free.
Do you have old kites that you wouldn't mind too much if hard crashes break them? I find this is an obstacle when friends ask for help learning to kite.

F-One handle insert distance

F-One_Handle_2016.jpg My F-One handle broke at one side without any particular stress to it. It appears as if standard insert distances could be 18, 20 or 22 centimeters. F-One inserts turn out to be at 23,5 centimeters, meaning I can not use any of my spare handles. Same thing with fins, where the...
