I also mountain bike and kite buggy in remote locations. Non-emergency recovery options for offshore foil touring

"Don't go out further than you can swim back" is a dying concept in the age of the hydrofoil. And the buddy system is not especially helpful either... if the wind dies, your buddy is floating there with you; if your gear breaks, he can only help by returning to shore and requesting 3rd-party assista...

From the other thread : Just got a 12m Aurora 2, also in the ultralight fabric. First impressions: - Weight: 2.15kg - The fabric is much stiffer and crispy. Basically the same as good quality silnylon spinnakers. Compared to the standard fabric, the ultralight fabric should stretch and distort a lot...
