Re: Ride Engine 2018 Harnesses

However, this year is an evolution to the design and with the new setup you can cinch it in tight very easily and it just feels even more secure. John IMO 70% of the "fit" is how tight you can get the harness to prevent it riding up. My 2017 RE with the single buckle was the first harness ever I ma...

Re: Shinn Ronson review

I've never even seen a Shinn board but its interesting how I don't think I've ever seen anything but really positive reviews on them - and lots of those. Probably the first make I would look at for my next board. I've now had the Ronson for a year since I did my initial review and the whole package...

Re: F one Bandit 12m 2018 V's 2017 review

Had my 3rd session with the 12m today. Wind 13 to 17 knots. The bottom end of this kite is phenomenal I was kiting in 13 knots to begin with going upwind like a train & getting some massive jumps. I’ve never flown a “C” kite before but I imagine this is the closest for a hybrid/bow kite. The pull is...

Re: F one Bandit 9m 2018 V’s 2017

Interesting review https://www.iksurfmag.com/reviews/kites/f-one-kiteboarding-bandit-7m-2018/ I can certainly confirm the ability to charge upwind and point higher than any other Bandit I've kited. Also the nimble/quick turns do make it feel like a 7m. The smooth boost, great hang time and the short...

Re: F one Bandit 9m 2018 V’s 2017

Ianw, had any more time on the 9m? It sounds like it more aggressive like the B8 was? Unfortunately not I hope my 12m review helped http://www.kiteforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=2397813&p=992550. As I said the bar pressure felt higher with the 12m than the 9m which gave it that aggressive yet controlled...

I pump my Bandit to 8 psi max.
From the B7,B8, B9 B10 & B11 kite manuals quote "Recommended pressure : 10 PSI" unquote. The centre strut needs to be totally inflated no wrinkles.

Re: F one Bandit 12m 2018 V's 2017 review

So it has an extra pulley, 6 totals? I wonder if this is just to improve the 1 line flagging or why they needed it. I thought the previous version the LE was already pretty thin, kite still felt rigid and stable? Maybe on high end for bigger guy would be an issue? Maybe they used new dacron? No clu...

F one Bandit 12m 2018 V's 2017 review

Me- 75 kg, Style – Freeride/wave Conditions – wind 12 – 17 knots, no depower, riding TT, bar set at 52 cm. See my previous 9m B11 review. http://www.kiteforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=2397765&p=991657 The extra bar pressure is more apparent on the 12m than the 9m, this IMO gives the kite:- better low end...

F one Bandit 9m 2018 V’s 2017

Me- 75 kg, Style – Freeride/wave Conditions – gusty 20 – 31 knots 70% depowered riding TT, bar set at 45 cm. Kite & bar “out of the bag”:- Kite – feels lighter, LE thinner, different panel layout, no battens, new SUP valve, 3 pullies per side instead of 2. New colours - strawberry & lime (ice cream ...

Re: Kite description V’s style usage

Following on the NKB example, yes there is quite a lot of overlap between those kites (in the order Neo-Dice-Evo-Rebel). If you were unable to test the kite for whatever reason, I still think you'd have a good shot at finding the right kite based on the descriptions given and the tool on the website...
