Re: My first long swim

Hasn’t been a problem for me. I’ve only done this when the wind was so light there was no hope of relaunch so there was no worry of paddling in chop. Of coarse with a big heavy kite like in the video it’s gonna need more wind to relaunch but with the clouds it has to be almost zero wind for me not t...

Re: Race lines

Thanks for the link, that’s the kind of info I was looking for. Didn’t come up much with a search.

Really want to make a backup bar with 27-30 m lines for foiling in light wind.

Anyone know how much more bottom end you would get out of a 12m kite with longer thinner lines?

Do race lines help in lightwind? Where/what brand is everyone finding these?

Body dragging through the surf

Just curious what everyone’s preferred technique for getting to deep water with the board is?
Especially in the surf with lighter wind.

Re: Piq, Xensr or Woo?

So far my Apple Watch with Catalyst waterproof case has been problem free. The gps data and session time is mainly what I use it for.
Would definitely like to compare woo and Xensr at the same time.

Re: Apple Watch Series 2...

Heart rate works great. It has a silicone membrane overtop the sensor that allows it to still work.

Re: Apple Watch Series 2...

I use the Catalyst waterproof case for extra protection. It has the band attached.

So far so good 👍🏻 Time will tell if it holds up kiting.

Re: Charleston Isle of Palms Questions?

I kited in that general area the week we were there Memorial Day week. Just stayed outside swimmers and tried to ride early and late on the weekend. I was on my 17M most of the time. Great place to ride.

Re: Best bankrupt?

I ordered from a Best dealer that was running the promotion. They are located in the US/Florida. I ordered the same day as you.
