I don't think you can go past the slingshot hoverglide and flight school kit. It'll get you up and riding immediately if you follow the foil academy. And it'll take a while to outgrow and has great resale value!
Then it's just a matter of having the appropriate kites to suit foiling..

If they're kept free of sand and dirt they last for a very long time I've found as I've never replaced 1 yet after 4 year's of riding using the CSS Bar.

Why are so many quick to dismiss a issue like this? I think it would be a very different story if it happened to the people here that have such strong opinions. All kites have manufacturing faults and fortunately some pass quality control that shouldn't. In the end companies wouldn't have a business...

I'd get a slingshot as the previous poster said he did after having no back up from the naish dealer. Revs are a great kite with a pulley upgrade to prevent twisting of the P Line's.
