Re: Who has Crazyfly kite? Are they durable ? How is the quality?

Buying a kite that nobody has is risky if you don't like it and you want to sell it you are going to have a hard time. If you get to demo it and you love it and want to keep it a long time go for it!

The boards are good I agree the kites.. who knows...

Re: new bar grip

I used bicycle foam grip designed for handle bars on a custom bar that I built with an aluminum tube. I agree hockey tape on the ends is the best and contact cement if the original glue does not cut it. The bar is very comfy and it held up good after a few years.

Re: New Switch Kites Helium3 only days away :-)

Because I ride inland lakes at home and the wind is fickle after swimming for hours with a foil and kite a few times you start prefer LEI over closed cell foils. I still have several foils but I use them mostly in the winter on the snow or when I travel on seaside destinations.

Re: New Switch Kites Helium3 only days away :-)

I'm a 100kg I need a 15m single strut that will stay up there in the lull in 4 knots I can ride in around 5 or 6 knots on my foil but my GTS LW 15M will fall form the sky even if I keep it moving. The kite is awesome fast responsive, great drifting plenty of power, amazing in waves. I was hoping for...

Re: New Switch Kites Helium3 only days away :-)

What about the single strut kite is that project dead now. There was a rumour Switch was working on a single strut kite for foiling. I was sort of hoping to see that coming out this spring...

Re: Replacement swivel for 4line flag out

I have been kiting for a long time and I don't think there is such a thing as 4 line flag out. LEI kites flag out on the front lines either both front lines for older kites or a single front lines for pretty much all current kites. Foil kite sometimes flag out on the rear lines. some kites with 5 li...
