Drilled new holes in a Moses T20 board for bigger foilplate. Bought a massive nylon stick 25 mm. Cut for pices in lenghts as the board thickness. Drilled Four holes new holes in the board and epoxy laminated the four nylon plugs into the board. Drilled holes for the platescrews in the nylon plugs. ...

I managed to break my HF board due to XPS delamination and planning to make a new one with EPS core as it bonds better with epoxy. I want the rails to be bulletproof as I tend to hit it with my harness hook before waterstarts. Should I use UD carbon fibre or kevlar tape? The layup would be 2x160g g...

HI Lev, thanks for sharing. One thing tho, the easiest method for the mast 'stringers' is just buy them :) The carbon rod or even a square tube is way more cheaper than investing significant time and effort in building it. Just built another cheap pine wood core with 600 mm long mast.
No sharp edges.
Materials are:
wood, 4 oz F/G, 6 oz twill carbon...

Hi!
You could create beams (or stringers) just cutting shaped foam or wood core in 2 or 3 pcs, and create your stringers wrapping the pieces with F/G or carbon.
I did build my board with the foam core and my wings with the wood core using this method- and it works well...

Hi!You could create beams (or stringers) just cutting shaped foam or wood core in 2 or 3 pcs, and create your stringers wrapping the peices with carbon.
I did build my board with the foam core and my wings with the wood core using this method- and it works well...
