Re: Best bankrupt?

he has been forced to leverage any value he had in BEST. sq225917, Thanks for your service to the kiteboarding community. I still quote you on a few things when I am asked certain questions. I hope some one starts paying you what you deserve. As far as Best's current value, it could be zero. Best h...

Re: Is my instructor bias regarding buying gear?

Slight chance I am wrong, but here is what you can figure out from what you have told us: If you are right about you wind conditions, then (like everyone is saying) a 9m is too small - AT YOUR REPORTED SKILL LEVEL! If your skill level is less than you think, there would be a chance that your instruc...

Re: Different Bar Widths - Explained

Im not sure it work with tubes in same manner as foils. Tubes are really oversheet proof..... I agree with this only if you say either: Modern tubes are more resistant to oversheeting or Tubes do not oversheet in the exact same manner as a foil will There is a difference in stall, but you can backs...

Re: Different Bar Widths - Explained

Oooooo!.....Gotta get in on this thread. I ignored it because of the title up until I saw it went to 5 pages. Then I had to read it. Small bars are like a dime a dozen on Ebay/Ikitesurf/CraigsList. Longer bars.....well I am pretty sure I am headed toward making my own bars again as I can't find a ba...

Re: Core and German engineering meme

You are not taking into account how kite COREporations work. I was saying how they can and should work, not how they do work. Carry on with your rant. :) Thank you for the clarification. So should I assume that an addition of "smilies" indicates a question to which you do not wish a direct answer f...

Re: Core and German engineering meme

.....but the fact that core has chosen these people to represent it is really the worst. Makes me think Sandras has been hacked. I mean look at his avatar??? But his statement is spot on nonetheless. Good grief. 1. Core HQ must know the warranty claims/spares requirements for each kite range/size. ...

Re: Surfboard for a beginner?

.....There is an endless debate about this, but I think going strapless is far more comfortable, and makes learning to gybe easier. For the simple reasoning of "you have to step around, then into the straps when strapped kitesurfing", this statement is correct. Riding strapless will get you your fi...

My grattitude extended to Toby

time to act. reading a lot and following, I also have to decide if the poster/customer has a valid point or not. If the company is doing wrong or the customer. Not easy for me. So I need to see where it goes. I also heard from Core about their version and given proof about some more background info...

Re: Don't buy a Core kite before you read this!

I love core kite but dont own them. We are now on 27 pages of bad press for core. All over a $100 part/shipping. It doesnt even matter who is right or wrong, the fact is you have created 27 pages of bad press. Not the greatest of business decision making. Definely an inept marketing department. Or ...

Re: Don't buy a Core kite before you read this!

Matteo The only specific thin bridles used on any core kites were used on 9mXr5s at the request of the two people that used them for speed sailing. I know this as I am one of them and I know the other one. There is not any kind of mass unsuspecting trial going on so can we please stick to the facts...
